Meredith King
Associate Managing Director
Meredith
has worked
at Northside since 2000, and became our Associate Managing Director
in 2005. She began here as an actor when she was 11 years old. She
also works as an Equity Stage Manager. Some of her recent Stage
Management credits include GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS, A TUNA CHRISTMAS,
GREATER TUNA, the World Premiere of LIL’ DARLIN’, INHERIT THE
WIND, the World Premiere of TENDERS IN THE FOG, THE LONESOME WEST,
THE GLASS MENAGERIE, MISERY, BUDDY: THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY, I HATE
HAMLET, GHOSTS and A SKULL IN CONNEMARA, all with San Jose Stage
Company. She has Stage Managed TheatreWorks’ New Works Festival
productions of BIG RED SUN, THERE’S SOMETHING WRONG WITH AMANDINE,
PIECE and MEMPHIS, and served as Assistant Stage Manager for San
Jose Repertory Theatre's production of AMY'S VIEW. Recent credits
include the Costume Design for the World Premiere of THE SUGAR WITCH
and THE RAINMAKER and co-direction of CALIFORNIA SUITE, all at
Northside Theatre Company. She also directed WHO”S AFRAID
OF VIRGINIA WOOLF?, and THE CEMETERY CLUB also here at Northside Theatre Company. Meredith
earned her Bachelor of Arts in Physical Anthropology from San Jose
State University.
